Mercury amalgam (silver) fillings may be hazardous to your health. At Gerber Dental Care, we believe that the overall health of our patients always comes first. Accordingly, at our office we have elected to only use new & advanced fillings made of tooth-colored materials that contain no metals or mercury. It’s just one more way that we show our patients how much we care. Your safety & smile are our primary concerns!
Gerber Dental Care offers in-office digital x-rays for your convenience. Digital x-rays are computer-generated images that require up to 90% less radiation than conventional film-type x-rays. Instead of using the traditional silver-oxide x-ray film, which must be developed & then fixed in caustic & environmentally damaging solutions, the new system takes pictures via a small electronic sensor. A picture of the tooth is instantaneously transmitted onto the monitor in the treatment room so we can see your teeth & surrounding structures immediately.
Wake up to a healthier and more beautiful smile with amazingly comfortable sedation dentistry. We care for patients who:
- are afraid of needles & shots.
- have had bad experiences before.
- have not been to the dentist in a long time.
- always gag when having dental work done.
- just can’t seem to get numb.
- feel their teeth are too far gone for traditional treatment.
Sanitized Water Lines
We understand your concern about water quality & the importance of keeping you & your family healthy. For this reason, we utilize filtered water lines during our dental procedures. By filtering the water used in dental procedures, we are able to get rid of any substances that may compromise the health of our patients. The safety, health & dental care of patients are our top priorities. This is just another way to show how much Gerber Dental Care cares!
Also known as laughing gas, nitrous oxide is a great tool for patients who may be uneasy about their dental procedures. The beauty of laughing gas is that your dentist can constantly adjust your level of sedation during the procedure & once it is shut off, the effects stop almost immediately. A few minutes after the procedure is complete, you’ll be back to normal!
Gerber Dental Care Dentists is certified to administer nitrous oxide for nervous patients. Call today to schedule your appointment or to see if you’re a candidate for nitrous oxide sedation!
